when i have my car at WOT like when im racing or something the motors seems to hit a rev limiter at like 5 grand. however it doesnt always do it. but when it does do it the car jerks badly and if i let off the gas then get back on it it continues to rev. its startin to become a real pain. i was thinking meybe it was cutting the fuel to the motor somehow but i dnt know. what could the cause be???

 

What do your plugs look like? It does sound like a fuel problem though, maybe injectors, fuel rail and/or fuel pump.

 

i have been having the exact same problem with my work car this morning....

 

yea i leaning on the fuel as the cause too. i have a fuel pump to put in it but need a set iof injectors. i think im just goin to replace it all. it sux cuz i went to the track last fall and it was like shutting off on me and i couldnt run any good times.

 

could it be the filter regulator??/
