Default whole swap

I am going to try the 2.4 swap. i have a 95 sohc atx. I am wanting to put a 2.4 with a mtx in there. now i have the parts list, but i am confused about a couple things...since i am switching transmissions also which harness and pcm do i use? can i just get like the harness, mtx. and pcm out of a dohc manual neon? what year does the neon for the mtx have to be? and what years should i stay between for the 2.4. i was told to stay away from the post 01 engines

Assuming it's a regular 2.4 swap, then you would use the harness and PCM from a 97-99 DOHC neon. The MTX can be any one from a neon from 95-00. Engines froma 95 to 00 Stratus and 96-00 Caravan can be used.

Cheaper and easier to wire than the SRT-4 engine swap. You can use the SRT-4 internals and build it up cheap also.
