Default camshaft

what would you guys recomend for a good camshaft for my dohc. also wat would i need besides the cam and new gasket set for the valve cover.? i plan on racing the car but also some street use so i would like to know what you think

Two cams maybe. It will only run50% better with just one.

so they are the best choice. are the 16 and 18 to rough to run anything less than racing? or compression

Crane 16's or 18's will make daily driving a bit more rough, but its all in what you can handle.

your car will have a really lopy idle.....
and they are gona cost a few pennies more[&:]

at least crane 16's. you can make even 18's idle like stock with good tuning. i wouldnt waste my money on 14's. but as stated you'll need at least upgraded valvesprings.
