Which companies short shifter is better: B&M for $119.00 or the Megan Racing for $27.50????

 

b&m......megan racing is just a cheap company....no real quality or anything, just cheap

 

i figured just cause i know b&m is quality

 

when it comes to performance parts, price says alot

 

i actually got one off ebay (4caroption) and altho i had a bit of trouble with shipping (the first package sent to me was damaged in the mail), i got the shifter and installed no problem. it's still a bit long for my liking, but i went to advance auto and got a shifter **** that i can still cut the shaft of the shifter a bit more and just have a lower overall shift length. without cutting the shaft it's about 2 inches shorter than stock or so. i spent about 50 in all including the shift ****.

 

i like my hurst....its short, but not too short.....i think it cost me a little over $100.00, but well worth it

 

do you think the b&m will be shorter? and hey spud have you taken your car to the track or anything? just curious what times your putting up

 

the b$m is a fairly short shifter

no never been to the track....i am hopeing to go this spring after the motor is done......its gonna be insane since i cant put everything that on the car in the signature, there is just a few more things then it lists

 

I vote for a longer sig!!! i tried to list my mods too....damn 250 characters[:@]..but anyways....i got a ebay shifter too...that thing sucks. is just a "short" shifter, no reduced throws...

 

my work car came with a short throw shifter...i dont know what kind it is ut i know its chrome....probally from ebay or sumthing
