So I'm new here. I just got a 95 neon sport 5sp. Sohc and its clean. It needs more power. I ordered a mopar intake for it. And I'm getting a catback for it in a week. I plan to buy a used SOHC head from my local junk yard. Then get p and p work on it. Dose anyone know what kind of hp gains I could see with a worked head?

 

What Mopar intake did you get?

I have a SOHC port and polished head from CNNP Racing. It worked very nicely on my 97.

 

i wouldnt be able to tell you....i hope its decent becasue i spent alot of time porting the head im gonna put on my motor when i get it back....

 

I hope it works out, I can see alot of time and money going into to this. But I think it will pay.............................the mopar air intake is the one I order. The one that looks like a Iceman air intake

 

That is the Iceman intake just sold under the Mopar name.

I would be willing to sell you my ported head, if you are interested.

 

Thats cool man. I think I want to wait until I get some basic stuff done to it I going to wait until summer to do the head work. Do they still make them CNNP racing heads??

 

No, the owner Nemo, closed the shop. But his head work is widely regarded among neon owners. They are called Nemo heads.
