Default Dammit Man

I went around today getting a few price quotes on putting my block back together....just the block....and im gettin prices like $600 and up....what is so hard about installing the pistons and crank in the block? is it something i can do myself and save a fortune???

well the junk yards sell the dohc engines around here for that much and the sohc's for a lil less

j e pistons and eagle rods are going in the block, and my block is bored .20 over and honed....i just need someone to put it back together, or else ill just end up doing it myself[&:]

it is easy to do yourself....just as long as you make sure to torque everything exactly.....

i told you this would be expensive

too bad you dont live closer, i would put it all together for you

yea this sucks...if only our neons came stock with je pistons/eagle rods........[:'(], maybe i can ask the automotive instructor at my school and see if he will help me
