RPM drop???

Default RPM drop???

last night me and my friend were on the highway actin a fool....he has a v6 firebird....and tried me.....well, i was in third gear at about 5800-5900 rpms, i stayed even with him....and as soon as i shifted to 4th,it dropped to like 3000rpms..and he left me.....is that normal??

Out of curiosity what year firebird? Because I have a buddy w/ a stock 1994 V6 AutoCamero and I beat him when side by side on a highway. I also beat my other buddy who had astock V6 Manual 2004 Mustang.

i was able to waste my mother-in-laws 94 6cyl. camaro straight of the line....and my father-in-laws 85 camaro with a 305...i think i actually had that one better then the 94

you sure you didnt hit a different gear????
if you were at 5800 then after you shifted you should of been at about 4500-4800....

i think it was a late 90s firebird...not sure of the exact year...but its the ones that look like spaceships...lol
and yea spud.....i was watching my rpms....i was in third at 5900-6000 and shifted to 4th....and dropped down to 3000-3200....man i cant wait til i get my engine and turbo installed[:@]
