Ihave a question about the k member bolts atleast i think its called a k member the part that the rack and pinion bolts to anyway the bolts that hold it to the frame from the underside if i take them out to remove it to clean it up do i have to buy new bolts or can they be reused and wheni bolt it back up can it become off centeredfrom the car or will i have to recenter it on the car agian?

 

reuse the bolts, it should ceneter up, the holes arent slotted, but it might change slighly and throw the original alignment off a hair.

 

you should be able to re-use the bolts. I dont think taking them off and putting them back on would be a problem. And when you try and re-center it, make sure you do it carefully because like racex said, it can become unaligned easy.

 

i just put mine back on yeasterday....so what you need to do is put in the front bolts first but dont tighten them up all the way...then if you have the controll arms off, install them....then tighten down the rear control arm bolts all the way and then tighten down the front cross memeber bolts.....should be aligned correctly then...
