Thought I'd introduce myself and my 87 D100. I bought it from my grandson who got tired of messing with it. He bought it w/o a motor or transmission so I gave him a sweet running 72 slant with a Super Six/904 to use. Him and his Dad never could get it running right so he offered it to me. Looks like they tried to use the original Lean Burn computer with the 2 wire electronic dizzy. I'm in the process of converting it to electronic ignition to get it running right.
I came across a thread on another forum where the member swapped his bench seat in his mid 80s truck for a set of bucket seats with fold down armrest/buddy seat from a late 90s Dakota. Am also in the process of that swap as well.

Wife and I also own a 2010 Ram, regular cab and short bed with the 4.7 motor. Love the truck! Took it to this year's Nationals loaded with stuff - very comfortable and surprisingly easy on gas!
