Default Newbie, Help, recent radiator replacement.

Hello everyone, I have a 1983 Dodge Ram with a S-6 Engine. The radiator had a hole in it, and I couldn't afford a new one ($150), so I went to the local pull a part and got a used one for $25. The Leaking has stopped, except now that everytime I drive I hear a loud sound coming from the engine area. When idling nothing, except when I turn the wheel right, but when driving it is a constant almost knocking sound. Also the radiator I pulled is from a V-8, dont know if that makes a difference, any help would be much appreciated! Thanks again.

Is the fan hitting the shroud?

Unhappy

It was, but I cut part of the shroud so its not doing that anymore. When idling it only makes the sound when I turn the wheel to the right, but when I drive it, then the sound is constantly there. At low speeds it is not very loud, but when I accelerate it is like metal on metal contact. It didnt do this before the radiator was replaced.
