Default new rig, looking for header opinions

Hey, Ive been around in the 3rd gen section for a while, but I just picked up a 90 4x4 with a 360.

Ive found several headers online from $119-160 and all say will not fit with air pump, does anyone know if thats just the lines from the pump or because of the small holes at the exhaust ports of the heads?

Not a bad old truck, body is decent, runs drives ok, but needs some exhaust manifold gaskets, so I figure why not just do headers while im in there right.

Any input on headers is appreciated. thanks

You have to tap all the holes in the head and install setscrews to plug them up. I recently did it to my '89 with the 360 to install some magnum manifolds I had laying around.

Look at the Summit brand headers on summit racing. They have the instructions online to install the headers. They are a good price and Summit Racing has good customer service.
