A good buddy of mine has a nearly pristine 95 dakota, with something like 95k miles on it, owned by his grandpa until about 2 years ago. Its really the epitome of a grandpa truck. He took his truck in to have some rust that was just beginning to bubble on the bottom of the door taken care of. It turns out, HE HAS A 9 INCH HOLE IN HIS FRAME!!! I would have never guessed. It gets washed all the time, even in the winter, never sees mud or even grass, and generally gets treated like some sort of quasi-classic car. I guess the stupid pennsylvania winter salt really gets to them. I'll be oil-bathing my frame again this weekend. Lol.
