I installed an Edelbrock 600cfm on my 88 Dodge D250 5.9L and am having some problems figuring out how the detent cable is supposed to hook up using the chrysler adapter I purchased. Even the throttle is odd. However no matter how I view it, the detent is going to hit the choke rods. Dont want some weird angle but cant see alot of ways around it. Any input is greatly appreciated.

 

do you have some parts numbers or pictures you could give us to get an idea what we are trying to help with. i figure if you have all the correct parts and they are installed correctly there should not be anything hitting each other.
