Default Need help with 92 D150

Hello, i recently bought a 1992 D150 2wd regular cab pickup. the truck is in very good condition given its age and its a vehicle i would not be afraid to put some money into. i have searched SEVERAL websites online looking for aftermarket parts for this year of truck. such as suspension, exhaust, exterior accessories, ect. with no luck. basically every website i have visited has parts to fit trucks as old as 1994. so my question to anyone out there who would have any sources to share, im looking for any parts websites, companies, ect who have a variety of aftermarket parts for my 1992. any response will be appreciated, thank you.

As for exhuast, suspension, and general replacements parts: Its pretty easy to find those things. Summit Racing, and Jegs are two good websites and there are more. Advance Auto Parts, and Auto Zone etc. will carry plenty or stock related stuff.

When it comes to trim pieces and stuff along those lines, well those are hard to find. Will most likly have to go to a junkyard for those types of things. Have seen some exterior stuff. Hoods and tailgates are pretty easy to find. I havnt found the right tailgate for a 92 though (with the silver/red piece).

What exactly are you looking for?

i think if you want to level the front end you might just want to look for some heavy duty springs for up front. sixgun leveled his. what other type of things are you looking to do to it. if you are a bit more specific we might be able to help you a bit more. with these older dodges you sometimes got to get a bit creative.

well i mean i have had a few ideas to make the truck look a bit beefier being as im a 20 year old guy and we always gotta have a badass looking truck hahaha. but one of the things i wanted to do the most was level the front and possibly raise it a bit more after that so i can clear some bigger tires (right now it has 235/75/15s) once i get that done i will significantly more satisfied with the looks of it so thats priority number one

Im not familar with the metric sizes to know what it is equal to in inches. But as far as lifting/leveling goes. Springs in the front and a block in the back is really the only way to go. You can do a body but it can be more work and not as good as suspension.

Personally since you have a 2wd I wouldnt lift it much.
btw manual or auto tranny?
