I got a 1984 Dodge w150 that im trying to restore all original but when i use vin decoders the engine code which is a T keeps pulling up as a 440 4bbl from the late 70's. It has a 318 in it i just wanna know if it is the original motor or if it was changed also would like to know if there is a package code in the vin to. like wether it was a base or higher truck any help will be appreciated

 

i don't know what vin decoder you are using but my haynes manual says 83-87 t means 318 2 barrel
