Default I never cease to amaze myself . . . not

. . . with my oversight, and ability to be a knucklehead. I am in the process of stripping the black/chrome waistline trim from my truck, and refreshing the body work from 2 years ago. I was filling in the hole from knocking off the pins that hold the trim, and for some reason, my confounded, ninny, good for nothing, chucklehead self decided to fill in the holes on the front fender for the emblems.

I woke up this morning thinking "Wait, I NEED THOSE!!!" And I did a really good job of it too. I sanded it to bare metal, and used fiberglass filler. I think I'm mostly upset that I wasted so much of that expensive fiberglass filler on the largest of the holes. My time is infinite, but I don't really want to run out of fiberglass before I fill all the rest of the trim holes.

Oh well. Such is the price of being a NINCOMPOOP!!!

Yes. I sanded it back down and knocked out the fiberglass. Good as new.

Will do. The driver's side is almost done, and I've just started stripping the passenger side. I'll hopefully be buying paint in the next week or two.
