1984 W150 Transmission Id?

Default 1984 W150 Transmission Id?

Hey guys, i have a 1984 dodge w150, and i need an id on the transmission. It has a 318 engine, and its an automatic transmission. These are the numbers on the transmission housing. PK4329458 then 8221 3264.

It is a torqueflite A-727 that was built on Jan 29, 1984.

i have question about gearbox. my number is pk4329458 81,75 6755.
What kind of oil must use ????

Dexron III replaced II. It will work.

For an '84, yes, either one will work. As for capacity, I'm not a transmission mechanic. Unless you tear the whole unit apart, you never really get all the old fluid out. It's been so long since I worked on an 80's model transmission, I'll have to look around.
