Default Gauges

Thought I would try to add something to the forum since I have benefited so much from it. This idea is a modification on the placement of additional gauges. Locating the gauges in this area has been done by other members of the forum.

I like that spot, and I would put gauges there on my cummins but I like the stock message center too

Installing gauges this way is not appropriate for all 1st gen pickups. In my case the only thing in this area was a blank insert and a small storage compartment. The advantage of this install, besides aesthetics, is you do not have to remove the gauges in order to remove the bezel. Removing the gauges before you can service other under dash items is a lot of work.
