hey i have a 1996 dodge ram 1500 4x4 with a 5.2 318. i am having a problem with my truck not having any power. it will hardly go down the road and will not raise enough rpms to shift the transmission. i have changed the wires and plugs. i ran a computer diagnostic on it and it came back that my cylinders was misfiring. can any one help. if u can call the cell 7708687694 my name is brandon

 

First off, I'd refrain from posting your phone number. There area lot of jerks out there. Secondly, you'vegot a 2nd generation Ram and this is the firstgenarea, and third, it sounds like you may have a clogged cat converter. Unbolt the exhaustat the manifolds and pull the exhaustaway a little, then take it for aquick spin and see if that helps.It'll be loud, but it should tell you if the exhaust is the problem.Don't kill yourself or get a ticket for loud exhaust though.
