Default 94 Dodge Ram 1500 PCM Code 37

I have a 1994 Dodge Ram1500 V8 (5.2). After driving for a few minutes, my RPMs start getting high (1200 while stopped at a light and close to 2000 when I put it in park).I did the key thing and got these codes: 12, 37, 37, 55. I know what the first and last are but37 is a little confusing (especially 2 in a row). I have found several different answers ranging froma/c switch to Torque Converter Lockup Solenoid (whatever that is). I just bought this from a friend for $250 and I replaced the fan clutch, water pump, bybass hose, O2 sensor, engine coolant sensor, thermostat, thermostat housing, and radiator cap. I did all this myself and am pretty sure I did it right (Pep Boys wanted $1300 to do all that). Any ideas?

Thanks

You have to determine if you have a lockup torque convertor first. If you do than there is a problem, if you don't have one than this code is false and just ignore it or check for a temp sensor. I would assume on a 94 that you do have a lockup TC. The idle problem sounds like a bad IAC motor on the throttle body

37** TCC unlock solenoid An open or shorted condition detected in the torque converter part throttle unlock solenoid circuit (automatic trans).
or
Trans temp sensor low Voltage low at trans temp sensor.
or
Trans temp sensor high Voltage high at trans temp sensor.

Thanks, you were right about the IAC Motor, that fixed the problem. I took it in the the dealer and they wanted 270$ to replace the IAC Motor (they kept calling it the AIS Motor), I said no thanks and went and bought the part at AutoZonefor $40and did it myself. Took 30 minutes. I think they were trying to gouge me. Still getting the code though.

Thanks again.
