What I am tryng to is put a 440 in a 79 lil red expressbut i don't want to do ANY modifications to the truck that i can't reverse the 440 is factory engine in a 1977 d150 and i was wanting to know if the motor mounts and electrical off the old truck will work in the 79 lil red if anyone knows post a reply thanks

 

Well think about what you are going to customize firstlook at the K member in both trucks n compare then look at the engine mount positions because thingsARE reversable its just the reverse process may take a little bit of time to return it. Second, the wiring is not insanely complex if you are familiar with electical you can rig up your own system. As for the swapping, I have heard that the WARLOCKS did or could have a 440 in them, n being basically the same pickup as the red expressI think there won't be too much stuff to screw around with, besides all that stuff is like 10 whole wires all together ya know lol. I myself used to have a little red that I was gonna restore butwhen I got to the frame n it was trash so I threw the truck away.
