i am the new owner of a 93 dodge truck. not too sure what kind of truck it is, but its a single cab, short bed. it has a 318 with a 5 spd tranny. anyone know any good mods to go ahead and do to this thing? just bored and want something to do to it. anyone know why it might be smokin out the tail pipes when i hit the gas? i have heard the 318 is notorious for this. just new to dodges thankz

Get the air in and the exhaust out. Put a good free flowing exhaust and a better air cleaner to start. You can also try putting on a an accel cap and rotor and coil. Put normal mods like heads, a manifold, headers are easy power adders.

 

what brands would u recommend as far as headers, heads, intake manifolds, or exhaust. its a 318 bored .030 over. im looking for the loudest damn thing i can find.
