on the 1991 D150 i'm wanting to find out if there is a way to tune the injections on the throttle body. i'm not looking to to do alot to the engine just little thing here and there, cam andintake manifold, little stuff like that. i'm make more for looks on the inside and outside. i'm getting a bag kit from air ride pro and Showcase in Conroe, Tx is painting my truck and the transmission is being done by my dad while i'm here in iraq.

Personally, I'd either go MPFI with a magnum setup or go carb - I don't know if there's much you can do with the old SPFI except stick a wideband O2 in it and play with the fuel pressure.

So I was reading the current issue of Diesel Power (iirc) and they did a little blurb writeup on the Unichip for a 1994 Ram, which has OBD1, and there's just about nothing else available. You'd still have to get the Unichip tuned though.

Converting to a carb iirc the best bet would be to chuck a 600cfm carb on, get a low pressure fuel pump and get the sender and whatnot for a carb setup, fuel pressure regulator, and then you may need to get the distributor/ECM setup for it too. Oh, you'd probably want to find a 4bbl intake manifold, I think the TBI's were 2bbl.
