Ok, first of all i am new here.
I have a 1992 PR 150 4wd with the 5.2, i got in some very very deep water and ended up blowing it up. The tranny was already having issues and i figured it would of went and not the motor when i was playing. My question is:

Is the tranny out of a 1992 5.2 Dakota a direct swap? i am mantaining my 150's tc and i already know the engine is exact swap. i almost have everything off to get the motor out of the Ram. thank you

well i looked on the label in the 150 it says A518 4spd auto i do believe. but the sticker on the dakota isn't there. help

 

If they are the same tranny and look to be the same size i don't see why they wouldn't hook up. The bolt pattern should be the same for the same motor.
