So I'm finally taking delivery of the 83 W350 I've been asking about, and I'm stoked.



Its pretty rough looking now, but the rust is confined to the rear wheel wells and the front fenders only. The box is solid ( I was in it and moving around today unloading crap the previous owner left in there) and so is the cab.

I can't wait to start working on the sucker. [sm=badbadbad.gif] The 36"s are probably gonna get replaced with 38" Iroks and the rear dana 60 is gonna stay until I break it, when I'll jam a '70 under there. The 360 and 4-speed are gonna stay for now, until I decide on a cummins swap or a big block.

 

Your stoked on the 4 doors, you also got the reliable 4 speed. I wish I could find a 4 door over here. Where can I find a bumper like that?

 

I don't know who built that bumper, the previous owner bought the truck with it.

yeah, the four door short box combo is pretty rare here too, only goverment agencies could purchase them. Its an Ex-Forestry truck. I can't wait until it gets to my house tomorrow morning (needs brakes and some TLC before its road legal again.)
