I accidently touched a screw to the back side of the fuse panel. It smoked for a sec then I pulled it out. Well it did it to the wire that feeds the fuse for my a/c and heat control. Now the a/c or heat has no power to the fuse at all. What feeds the power to the back side of the fuse? relay? any ideas?

I only have a detailed schematic for a 96 RAM, I hate to assume what year yours is (a 91 maybe because of your name). If you post more info, maybe someone with that detailed schematic for that year will speak up. If not, I can tell you for the 96, it may or may not be exactly the same.

 

If it's a 91 it gets it's power from the ignition switch. That circuit to the ignition switch gets power from a fusible link under the hood, it's possible that you burned up a fusible link wire.

Yes, I colored them with a graphics editior. I use this pic on many threads/posts and found the best way was to color those with bright colors just to hilite them.

check the electrical connector below the ignition switch.

remove the lower steering column cover. right below the ignition is a big flat plastic plate. at the bottom of it is where the main power looms into the ignition switch. it has a tendancy to melt there.

lookin at my chiltons, there is a 30 am p fuse for the a/c. it runs as a brown wire to the dash console for the a/c controll assembly.there is a fusable link thta is hot at all times on a brown wire to the "wot cutout relay" in line to the a/c compressor clutch.
