Default Remove the Bench Seat for Single Seats?

I don't like the whole bench seat thing, so I'm thinking about removing the bench seat for single seat. I just don't know what seat to get yet. I was thinking about a couple of seats out of a Dodge Neon and dropping a floor shifter between them. If anyone out there has done it, please throw some tips this.

Converting to bucket seats isn't hard. Might check before you start...sometimes the carpet doesn't go all the way to the back of the cab. Main thing is to find a set of seats with a back angle that will work...ones out of a truck or a car with fully adjustable backs work best. A lot of times seats in cars sit angled back a little more than trucks too so you might have to make some spacers for the back pedestals on the seat. Also make sure you reinforce the mounting points so the seat doesn't pull out in case of an accident. I usually try to duplicate the thickness of the factory mounting locations and tack weld in either a very large washer or a small plate of steel.
