Default Rearend Question

Hey everyone. First off I love this site! great info on the first gen rams. Ok im in the process of lowering my 90 ram. the only question i have is what should i set the pinon angle at?? I have read alot of the lowering posts yall have but no one has ever said what to set it at. Obviously im putting the axle on top of the springs, i have new spring perches, u-bolts, and center bolts for the springs. I just need to know what angle to set it at.

Thanks ******

Default RE: Rearend Question

You want to keep the driveshaft and pinion angle within about 1* of each other, or else you will spit out U-joints under hard acceleration.
