this may not be the right place to post this but i had some slight cracks in my dash. i wanted to repair instead of replace because there not the worst only two on the glove compartment. Gauge surrounding is perfect. i tried cleaning up the area with wax remover and bondoing it till it was smooth and repsprayed it with interior paint.

but now those areas have cracked from heat after two months and also did not have the slight wrinkle finish that was orignally on this truck any help is greatly appriectied i dont want to destroy it has some dashs are in worse shape on ebay and nos is extremly expensive. its a 74 d-100 also did these trucks come with a metal door panel or the plastic has mines has a metal. also does rustoleom stop rust or simply slow it down?
