Default Intake manifold gasket? Help!!

Hey folks,
So I originally thought my rear main seal went (1986 dodge d150 with the 318 v8). I noticed that when sitting it didn't really leak oil (if at all) and when running it leaks a LOT even before it was warmed up. So I crawled under there as much as I could without getting splashed and noticed that oil seemed to be running down from the back of the engine somewhere, down primarily the passenger side all over the oil filter, tranny, oil pan, etc and making it seem exactly like a RMS leak. Vavle covers look like they need gaskets, but nothing so much as to cause this kind of leakage... I couldn't really see the back end of the valve covers, or anything else back there because of the firewall, and assumed it could be the intake manifold gasket. Does this sound right, and are there any other opinions out there? Your help is really, very much appreciated!![:'(]

It could easily be your rear intake gasket. A car I had lost the rear intake seal and had a leaking valve cover gasket. Ended up using a quart of oil every 15 miles. Clean everything off at the back of the engine and look back there with a mirror when you fire it up to make sure.
