Default Brakes

I have a '93 Ram 4x4 that has terrible brakes. I have replaced all the pads and shoes front and rear including turning the rotors and all new hardware with the rear brakes. It seems like the front brakes are doing all of the braking. The front brakes will lock upwithout even braking that hard. I was wondering what might be causing this and how to fix it.

Default RE: Brakes

I'd check all of the steel lines and make sure none of the ones to the front are partially collapsed/dented. Also make sure your rubber hoses are in good shape. Problems with either one can keep pressure on the front calipers so they act super touchy. If all of that checks out then I'd start looking to see if you have ABS or proportioning valve problems. Not sure if they had ABS on your model so check that out.
