Default Shocks & Exhaust

First thing I'm planning replacing on my D150 4X4 isthe shocks. I was thinking about getting a set of heavy duty Rancho's. I don't believe the truck has a lift but the shocks look original from 85, very very rusted. Any suggestions on shocks welcome. I will be using the truck to tow a utility trailer and heavy loads from time to time.
Also thinking about a new exhaust. Back in the 70's I had a Chevelle with headers and cherry bombs (basically2 straight pipes straight out the back). I loved the sound it had, and would like to get the same kinda sound out of my truck (it has a 318 in it the Chevy had a 350). any suggestions? What's a good brand of header these days?

Default RE: Shocks & Exhaust

rancho 9000s are pretty good I hear, being adjustable and all. I ran 5000s on my bronco and didn't mind them.

Thats a 360, Four barrel, and dual 2" pipes with Cherry bombs.
