spark plug brand advice
Dodge used Champions from the factor I think...I put in some Champion Truck Plugs because Autozone had them on sale for .99 each. I don't really like the Bosch Platinums but the AC Delcos seem to be really good plugs if you want to spend the money.

The best ones IMO are double platinums, more so because the elements resist erosion twice as long as standard plugs, extending the replacement intervals, time is money and I don't got an hour to replace these things every dang 10 or 20k miles, 2x platinums tend to last 40,000 miles.
1x platinums only half the equation resists erosion, and 4x's to me are overkill, something like 25-30 bucks for all 8 2x's.

That's Autolite - Champion

I recently purchased an 87 d-150 with a 318. I had several of these trucks in the 80`s when I had a delivery service. The only plugs that work well in these engines are Champions. That is what they came with from the factory. When I bought my 87,it had autolites in it and it idled really bad.I switched to Champions and it ran better immediately.Hope this helps
