I have just acquired a 84 short wheel base step side bed dodge truckand I love it. It has a built 360,8 3/4 rear end with 3-91 gears, and a 3speed overdrive transmission whichis good for fuel mileage, but not so good for performance which thetruck has been built for. My question is will a late model five speed out of a 2 wheel drive dodge truck work with this aplication? If anyone has attempted this or has the knowledge of whether it will work or not I would appreciate a reply.

 

I guess that it cant be done or noone on here has any idea if it can be done.
