Default PROBLEM! please help!

The Truck is a 1986 Dodge d150 with a 5.2 l/ 318ci.
What i have done before the problem in chronological order:
replaced fuel filter, changed belts, flushed coolant system, replaced air filter, changed spark plug wires and spark plugs, added mystery oil to the gas tank.

then the problem. when my foot is putting a little pressure on the gas pedal, usually starts around 35 mph and is way more noticeable at 45 mph and up, the engine will begin to jump like it's starving for fuel or air. this will shake the entire truck until i give it more gas or take my foot completely off of the gas pedal.

I have sprayed the lines with carb cleaner and there was no difference in rpm's. I tightened up the idle screw, i put back on the old plugs and wires. i'm thinking about changing the fuel filter again, maybe the mystery oil took a bunch of sludge from my tank and now it's sitting in my filter?

Any help will be extremely appreciated.

thanks

You have changed enough stuff that it is hard to guess. I'd start by putting the carb screws back where they started. Then run it for a while and pull the plugs. See if they are fouling out and turning black. If they are then either your ignition is cutting out or you are dumping too much fuel. If the plugs are staying clean then it might be a lack of fuel. Did you knock something out of place while changing the plugs and wires? Are you sure you have the firing order right? Maybe someone stabbed the distributor off a tooth and just moved the wires around to make it work. Make sure the #1 cylinder is at TDC on compression stroke and make sure the rotor is pointing to the dist. cap terminal you are using as #1. Pull your fuel filter and see if you can blow through it. Should not be an resistence.

alright, here's the story.
when i first read your reply telling me to look around and make sure that i didn't knock anything loose, my first reaction was, "already did that, not looking again, there's no way I could have missed anything." so, after thinking about it i figured that it would be the cheapest thing for me to do at the moment so i looked around, checked all the hoses, the wires, everything. then i decided to check the rotor (like you had told me to do) and while i was taking the clips off of the distributor I noticed that the cap was bent forward, lifting the rear abouta 1/2 inch from where it was supposed to be. I'm can be a wicked dumbass sometimes. I really appreciate your help, without that reply i'd still be pulling my hair out. I took it for a 10 mile run and ops check good. Thanks again for your time, man.
