I have a 1982 Dodge Ram with a standard bench seat that is quite worn. I have found a 60/40 split bench seat witha center console out of a 2001 Dodge Ram, and was wondering if anyone would happen to know what modifications I will need to make for getting it to fit properly. The seat out of the 2001 has the seat belts built into the seat. I am assuming that I may need to add additional reinforcement where it bolts onto the floor. But are the floors the same shape? Or will I need to build new brackets?
