I am about to buy a 1981 Dodge PowerRam with the 360 in it. I am wondering where I can find parts for it. Suspension, body, bumpers, anything. I can find the engine parts easy enough. I am normally a muscle car guy and a Ford one at that. So this is all new to me. Any info on this truck, parts for it, websites that will help me out, would be greatly appreciated.

 

Welcome to the forum. I've also mainly owned Fords and Ford muscle cars and my '81 W150 is my first Dodge.

Parts are a little hard to come by. Most of the body parts can be sourced through the usual collision parts companies and parts stores carry most of the suspension parts you'll need. The only part I've had trouble with so far is the slip joint between the steering box and steering column which I had to buy through Dodge. Parts are hard to come by but the trade off is that the trucks are cheap. My truck was laid on its side so has a flatbed now and the cab is screwed up. Before I bought it I found an '85 2wd that runs and drives (weak tranny) that I'm buying for $200...the body is good so I'm just going to swap them over.

I have a 93 D250 ctd. I have found that DODGE still stocks parts at some dealer locations. otherwise they may be ordered.

i have a 91 250 power ram and i cant find any part at junk yards anywhere i guess that is
kind of a good thing i dont no much but i might be able to help you im a long time dodge fan
