Hi, I'm probably in the wrong placebut I'm new here and have a question on my 1989 dodge ram 50 2wd pickup. @ 100k miles the "maint req'd" light came on. Can anyone tell me how to reset it? I appreciate any help, even if it gets me to the correct forum.

I know on my 1/2ton that light means something in the emissions system(egr, pcv,canister) needs, replaced or fixed. Suppose to come on everyone so often. I can't remeber how often. The manual Haynes, and Owner's says the dealer must turn of. But you may be able to get somone with a scan tool to clear the code it's running.
