I am looking for a "old school" dodge diesel (The square front end with the little finders). I see them around town but i never got a chance to ask what year they are. What is the best year for the old old body style? are they reliable if rebuilt? And are they easly found?

its actually 88/ 88-91.5 are non intercooled and 91.5-93 are intercooled also better built. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. i own 4

 

If you wanna be all technical about it, wasnt it the 77-78 model years when they had the Mitsubishi diesel engines in them ?And no, i'm not talking about the ram 50's, i'm talking full size Dodge truck. Come to think about it, the ram 50's also had a diesel in them back in the 80's.
