FROM THE FRONT OF THE TRUCK LOOKING TOWARDS THE ENGINE .LOOK ON THE DRVIER SIDE FRONT OFF THE ENGINE JUST UNDER WHERE THE CYLINDER HEAD SURFACE MEETS THE BLOCK...IF YOU STILL HAVE A SMOG PUMP(IF YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT) THEN GET UNDER THE TRUCK AND LOOK ON THE SIDES OFF THE BLOCK YOU WILL SEE A LONG NUMBER WITH A DASH AND EITHER A 318 OR 360 OR LOOK AT YOUR HARMONIC BALANCER IF ITS THIN ( 1') THAN IT'S A 318 ....IF IT'S THICK (2' OR SO ) ITS A 360... PROVIDED YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR LOOKING AT THE LAST METHOD IS ALMOST 90% CORRECT ALL THE TIME.....
