Didn't remember about the AIR ports being separate in the manifolds.[Seems to be a trend lately]Got an '82 360,and remember now the air ports being below the ex. ports. I guess you can disregard themusings of an ancient mind as far as the diluted gasses with Magnum heads. The 'individual ports in the heads'didn't sink in. Shoulda remembered Murphy's law: Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open my mouth and remove all doubt.

I took all the bracketry for the air pump off,and plugged the manfolds at the back. Outta sight outta mind. They didn't say anything about the pump,and I didn't either. You could take the vanes outta the air pump, the ports in the heads are usually plugged with carbon anyhow. [ I think I remember thinking that.]
