2007 Dodge Ram horn chirp & optical flash features
Hello all,
I have the solution to all questions and concerns about the puzzling task of turning on/off your horn chirp and optical flash features which come already activated on your dodge ram 1500 trucks. I have an 07' model. The manual for the 06' and 07' did not work for me and i accidentally turned both features off somehow by pressing buttons on my remote getting frustated. But here are the REAL steps which will work on the first try guaranteed... No need to go pay the dealership to do this when you can do this in under 1 minute.
Horn Chirp feature:
You can do this inside yourtruck or outside your truck.
On a programmed key fob: press the (lock) button for about 4 seconds then press the (panic) button while still holding down the lock button. Then press the lock button to confirm the feature has been turned on/off. To reverse the steps just repeat the steps above.
Optical Flash feature:
You can do this inside your truck or outside your truck.
On a programmed key fob: press the (unlock) button for about 4 seconds then press the (lock) button while still holding down the unlock button. Then press the unlock button to confirm the feature has been turned on/off. You should see your turn signals flash if this feature is on and activated. To reverse the steps just repeat the steps above.
