lol. yea. ball joints are prolly 50 or so. no biggie as long as it isnt rusted to ****. in fact thats a damned good investment if hell really pay you 35. Thats like 2500 dollars to change ball joints. some rattle can and a quick buff over the rust and itsa day.

I don't know yet. I still have a few minor things to do before I can get it inspected.
So far I've done the springs, swapped out the bad manual steering box with a power box and pump, and am having a new drive shaft made to replace the old rotten one. It had a lot of new suspension parts as well as a new alternator, water pump, and starter when I got it.
I need a new e-brake cable, windshield, and the rear brake lines.
I'm planning to have it on the road by the end of the month.

This is my truck with the rear axle flipped and 1.5 coils cut from the front.I will be honest in saying it rode like crap up front, it bounced and even hit the bump stops that I had cut way down. I will alsosay that the truck was a six cylinder truck and I put a V-8 in it so it did have the light springs up front.

I'll let you know in a couple weeks. I removed the bump stops, and still have the slant in it, so I hope it'll be OK.

84 Ram i really like the stepside with hubcaps. It really gives these trucks a certain class that other 80s vehicles couldnt hope for.

Thanks I like the look myself. I have a set of Weld wheels that are 15x12 for the rear and 15x3 up front, and I don't think they look as good as the steellies with the caps.
