yeah the reg was hooked up to the manifold vacuum source. When I pulled the hose there wasnt any fuel in it. Bone dry.

I havent started it up and see if it corrected the problem, due to I have the dash face apart to install a radio.

 

Well i drove up to 20 mph in the yard and it runs 100 percent better didnt stall once!!!

I am going to put in new injectors, o2 sensor, new pvc valve, new valve covers/gaskets. Then im going to put the computer on it and see what else needs replacing.

hey i posted a little DIY how to on changing the valve cover gaskets. If you have a smog pump on your engine, be sure tounhook it from the manifold, which i didnt do. It has a bracket on the end which bolts into the manifold, and when ipriedthe smog pump line out of the way to reomve/insert the covers i broke it off - leaving the bolt inside the manifold and a big holewhere the smog pumpline would have gone in. Anyhow while repairing that i didnt learn my lesson and moved the pipe around so much that i snapped it off the manifold on the other side. Big freaking mess.
