my 86 PR50 w/2.6 has a noise in the front of the valve cover. It sounds like there are "Rocks" floating around in there. I've checked the timing chain area for the noise, It is coming from the valve cover area. The engine has no vibration, it runs great. the noise is not as loud sometimes.

Any one have any ideas on this noise ??
I'm going to remove the valve cover this weekend and investigate.

 

perhaps it is a worn lifter, they usually like to tick, i had a 89 for a while and it ticked everysince i bought it
