Well, I just found a good cab for my 1985 D100. The truck is a 2wd 318 V8. The cab I am looking at is rust free with doors, from a 1990 4wd 5 speed. My old cab was BEAT. The roof was banged up bad, the window leaked, and the floor was rusted to kingdom come.

The guy wants $250 for the cab, but I'll have to patch the holes in the floor where it was previously a 5 speed and 4wd. And the cab comes with 2 more good doors, sliding rear window and I don't know what else yet. I got to look it over tomorrow.

I was going to use the $250 for another project to get seats, but this cab almost looks too good to pass up.

Decisions, decisions.....

Anybody need 2 nice complete doors if I get this cab?

but ifnobody can use the complete door and its all getting chuckedthen ill consider the interior skin. anything is nicer than my grey plastic.

 

The doors on the cab are not that nice, and "no rust" apparently means "the rockers need replaced" Dammit.

 

I have an idea how you feel.I went to S.C. to look at a duster in solid condition,it was except for the interior floor,trunk floor and quarters,other than that the car was solid with a few dents and cracking bondo.
