Default lug nut pattern

I haven't picked up my new truck yet, '84 Ram 4wd. I have an old POS 1975? Scout II with brand new buckshot mudders on good wheels. Does anyone know if the lug patterns are the same so I can just bolt thebuckshots onto my Ram?

It will depend on if your Dodge comes with the 5X5.5 or 5X4.5. According to http://www.4wheelparts.com/aux_incl/bolt_pattern.htmlThe Scout is 5X5.5.

5-5.5 or 137.5 are from at least 2nd ten and up, don't k ow about the d series. Maybe if they came stock 15 or 16" wheels then I could see 4.5 being an option

Thedodge would be 5-5.5 and the scout is probably 5-5.5 but not sure. Just measure the scout since you have it available. Everything from 81-93 and on were 5-5.5 no matter 2 or 4wd.

Not quite. They went to 5X5.5 in '83 or '84, depending on 4X4 or not. Earlier were 5X4.5.

Never seen anything but 5-5.5 since 81 when they went to part time front axle. Pretty sure their all 5.5 but the backspacing is probably different than the scout

Actually my '81 is 5X4.5. It makes a difference if it's 2wd or 4x4. Check out the chart; http://www.4wheelparts.com/aux_incl/bolt_pattern.html
