Can anyone tell me how I would be able to go from TBI to Carb set up, what I would need to do?

 

Well, if you follow my posts, you can maybe get a better idea, but here`s the general idea. I did a cam swap while I was there, but mainly I used an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, Edelbrock Performer 600 carb, and a fuel pressure regulator. But every case is a little different.

 

See I want to add propane to my system....and the guy said it is easier to set up, with a carb system, then with a TBI.

Also he said i would have to change the Distributer and other stuff...why?

 

You`re ignition system is computer controlled, you need the old style for that set up.

 

Well its about 1400 for a TBI propane Kit, it's about 500 for the carb kit, Do you think with Ignition system, intake manifold, and carb. that it would cost as much just to put in a TBI system.Eric
