Default '73 Powerwagon Drum to Disk Conversion

I have a '73 Powerwagon 3/4 ton and would like to replace the front drum brakes with disks. Which is easier, replacing the spindles or replacing the entire front end. It currently has a Dana 44 front. What would be a good donor vehicle for a front with disks?

Early to mid 80s are best. No vacuum crap, locking hubs/good wheel brgs. Chevy will fit with some fab work. Again, not to toot someone else's horn, lotsa 4wd swap info @ www.ramchargercentral.com

the easiest solution

stupidly expensive though.

Ive never had a 4x4 with Dana axles. But if the front and rear brake asssemblies for the 44 are the same, then this step-by-step walkthru might help.

and lastly, though i dont wanna go ahead and just post a bunch of links os ill warn you that i havent looked, my buddy mentioned you try this page, dedidated to Danas.
