Default Does my 1992 D150 have a speedometer cable?

The odometer on my 1992 has not worked for some time and the speedometer has intermittently not worked, so I replaced the speed sensor on the transmission. The speedometer has since been working steadly but still no odometer. I have a Haynes book, which I know covers several years, and it talks about a speedometer but I can't seem to find it. I don't know if the odometer is controlled off the speed sensor or by a speedometer cable, that I can't seem to find.

Thanks

No, it does not. I had the same problem awhile back and everyone tried to tell me it did. I had the entire dash out trying to find it. My speedo quit itermitenly then finally all together. The odo hasn't worked since i bought it and the owner said it had quit quite awhile back. Reeplaced and the trip odometer rolled 1/10th a mile and has since quit working again. But speedo works fine. I have heard alot of these trucks having odometer problems from iterminent act ups to total failure. Some have found that by replacing the actual gauge it will fix it, but then you loose the miles. I suppose the odo sensor is in conjunction with the speed sensor. But two dealers haven't been able to explain the widespread problems. Just like the 2001 Dodge pickup dash cracks.
